Violet: the Musical

The first show of next year's season was Violet, a musical with music by Jeanine Tesori (a member of our advisory board) and libretto by Brian Crawley.  Based on the story "The Ugliest Pilgrim" by Doris Betts, Violet follows  young disfigured Violet Karl as she journeys on a bus from North Carolina to Oklahoma in search of healing.  Our production took a unique spin on Violet's journey as it was physically set in its authentic location, on a bus. Simply put, it will be a travel musical that travels.

For more information about the production contact Producers Kelly Gregg and Brandon Powell or director Sammi Cannold.

The performances were on November 14 & 15 at 7pm and November 16 &17 at 12pm and 5pm.  Pleave visit the show's website for more information.
